Hi, can you show me some instructions and examples in how to use filters, pre/post processing in API settings tab? We have APIs which return XML format results. Is it possible for us to limit some of the elements in the returned results (selectively show only part of the returned results to our users) with Mashery? If yes, should we use filters, pre/post processing?
Thank you for your recent forum post. This is a great question, and one that many of our customers have been asking us. Currently, filters and processors require custom work by the Mashery engineering team, where your Mashery Account Manager works closely with you to fully understand your requirements and helps to develop a custom solution for you. The name of our custom solution would be entered into the the tab text fields that you are referring to. However, an exciting option and opportunity for you is just around the corner. Based on customer feedback such as yours, we are excited to be soon launching our API Packager that will offer similar functionality that you would be able to implement yourself! We have more information on API Packager at the link below. Stay tuned for release dates as we getting closer to the launch of this new product.
