The current version of the forums in the Mashery portals does not support markup, such as HTML or BBCode, and as such, you cannot post links or code snippets with any UI formatting.
This is a known enhancement request but we do not have an official date as to when it might be released. We are constantly evaluating priorities across our Product Roadmap and I will incorporate this data point into our process.

What kind of syntax do the forums on customer portals support?
I really need to be able to post links and code snippets.
I've tried HTML and Markdown and neither has worked. Any suggestions?
