Portal Search Feature

As your developer portal becomes larger, you may find it useful to add a content search capability.  The Mashery Portal has an ability to do so via simple configuration performed by the Mashery support team.  The default configuration is to simply add a text box and "Search" button to scan all content of your site.  It will search blog postings, forum postings, custom pages, documentation pages, comments, wiki pages, and the knowledge base features.  It also adheres to user access rights granted via the Roles feature.

Should you wish to limit the pages it searches to specific site functions, e.g. don't scan comments, this can also be done for you.  Please work with your Client Services Manager to set this up with your specific requirements.
